On tap this week
On tap this week: Here's a look at what I'm hoping to get up this week:
2005-06
1. Previews and recaps for the Suburban Council Tournament.
2. A stand-alone essay, with photos, as a follow-up to sitting with the 6th man.
3. Interview with Coach Holmes.
1979-80
1. Recaps from Shaker's only game - at Colonie on 2/8/1980.
2. The start of some serious player profiling - Perkins on Wednesday.
A few notes:
1) Don't know about the next game: The Surburban tournament starts on Thursday, and I assume that Shaker is playing Nisky, although I have no idea where or what time. I will post as soon as I find out.
2) Here are the final Suburban standings: The Suburban regualar season wrapped up last Friday (minus one meaningless make-up game between Guilderland and 'toga), and here are the final standings:
You can see that the top four teams are: Shaker, AP, Colonie, and Nisky. So I assume that will be the seeding for this weekend's tournament. The tournament starts on Thursday, with the finals on Sunday at HVCC and (I believe) the consolation game on Friday night.
3) Pictures: If you have any pictures from the student section on Friday night, send them in and I'll include them in my 6th man essay later this week.
